  • maker194 I had the same problem with sterling at Basildon fell for their con trick hook line and sinker , don't know if they're still trading hope not cause they're con merchants.

  • @Albert18264 any company that claims to offer you a job is talking bs.

  • I had a rip off company called Sterling LGV who said they had a training centre in Bolton which was an old lorry parked up in the street. I spent my life saving on an intensive course for Class 2 and took out their unlimited attempts insurance for an extra 300 quid. I failed the test 9 times and complained to them about the low standard of training and they didn't want to know. The unlimited insurance was only 4 free attempts and I still had to pay for the test fees! Sterling are Con Merchants

  • that sucks dude.. cleartstone are just a middleman but the actual training providers mainstream in kent are quite good. my fist instructor was a bit of a dickhead the second guy was cool..

it might be worth your while trying them direct the roads are in margate etc making it a tad easier then in london

  • when you pass dont work for agencys they piss me off avoid them if you can stuck up pricks they are.

  • I can confirm clearstone are shit.. i did my test through them and all they are a middleman.. I did my real training with clearstone.

  • I'd reccomend Transed Training in staffordshire, I had a five day course with test on the 5th day and passed first time! I was shitting it having never even sat in an lgv before let alone driven one!

  • dont work for agencys you get the worst jobs crap trucks that are dangerous to drive and they push you to the limit on taco, expect you to take a low wage when you have spent hard cash for all that traning. i am from derbyshire and 5yrs ago when i got my class 2 the only work i could get was from agency, and now i am strugling to get full time work, dont drive for agencys you will regretit . i wish all my fellow truckers Peace and Love.

  • Gear changing exercise..waste of time as more and more new trucks are autos which change up so early in the rev range in order to save a few eggcups of fuel that it takes an eternity to get up to a speed where you're making progress! Bin the idea and get a proper job that pays a proper wage for the responsibility you are about to undertake.

  • if he spoke to me like that i would drop him .looks like a renault by the way..

  • If you're learning in Glasgow, go with Ritchies. They're a family owned company with a great pass rate and a great reputation.

  • They have contacts in high places, REALLY, YOU DON'T NO WHAT YOUR DEALING WITH. It's all about money.Especially ripping of lgv driving schools for £100,000.00. thats just one school.

  • The people behind some of these companies are only in the background fishing to do some more business and if one driving school say yes to these middle people you along with a lot of people whom want to have a future in lgv are in deep trouble. as it will happen again.

  • Using top administrators and be left with making thousands upon thousand of pounds, just to start up all over again DON'T BE FOOLED THAT THEY CARE ABOUT YOUR FUTURE THEY HAVE NO CONCIENCE,
