I didn't know about them...neither did my friend, Mark Johnson, who wrote these wonderful words. We found out when I tried to get him credit for the lyrics from the song's original publisher, and they would not because there were already lyrics. I saw the other lyrics once, briefly, long ago. I never heard them actually in the context of the melody, though. What I do know is that Mark's lyrics are very beautiful...and haunting.

Why didnt you just use the original lyrics to the song instead of these? there is lyrics to this song written by them but never recorded

@TheBlackjax The first time I ever heard any lyrics to this song was at my friend Mark Johnson's apartment. He was playing a recording he had produced of his friend Hank Bones singing it. This must have been in 2006 or thereabouts. I chose to sing it, because it is the version that I fell in love with, plain and simple.

@CarolyneMas oh i agree it sounds nice and well done but would have been nice to do the original lyrics...would have been unique and interesting to hear and give a beautiful instrumental its rightful lyrics so people could hear them with your wonderful voice
