  • btw if you can upload the whole set, it would be nice, man. i'd say you're in charge of doing this) [sorry my english if something's wrong]

  • Sorry for the lack of replies, but my hard disk died on me. I'll upload some more songs (also from Jacksonville '94) in a week or 2.

Yes, there are quite some shows circulating besides the well-known Berkely and Davie, FL gigs. I'm doing my best to get hold of them. :-)

  • I would fucking break skulls if anyone booed cynic opening for cannibal douche.

  • I am still amazed how relaxed Paul is during his solo's. They are deceptively difficult to play and yet he makes it look so easy. They all look relaxed considering the technicality going on here. AMAZING!!

  • Why did Paul cut his hair? :'(

  • this is probably one of the best performances ive seen them do. malone and reinert and grooving in the corner. gobels REALLY into it, and masvidals solo is flawless. only problem is i cant see dana cosley's pretty face behind that hair.

  • I dig the mexican truck driver who plays the bass.

  • agreed

  • I'd like to know how Cannibal Corpse even entered this. They've not had the ability of technical nor musical to even be comparable to Cynic.

  • I dig Dana Cosley.

  • yea they are.

    seeing them live is amazziinng

ugghh the faceless and messugah played n there were so many ignorant kids. it was very annoying. for me personally metal has opened up my mind but with these kids its closing it and its very unfortunate.

cynic blew both bands away though. they jus had this thing live the sincerity and it seemed they as a band were together not only playing but at a higer conciousness.

  • Yeah, I totally see your point, man. Haha a few people I know are in the same boat. Like I said 'Tomb' and 'Bleeding' are their prime whereas the latest 'Evisceration Plague' after 'Kill' are very similar. I still think they're great albums though, hehe =D

On a side note, Cynic are fucking great, eh?

  • hmm your right. but a band could only go so far before they become annoyign and repatative.

cc loong passed the line of that but kudos for still being able to tour and play music as they wish.

jus by a musician stand point i believe the only real talented fellow in the band is alex.

i call him the steve harris of death metal haha

  • I'd say, quite frankly, that is your opinion. While I agree that 'The Bleeding' and 'Tomb Of The Mutilated' are their best albums they are still a good, true Death Metal band.
