For two years the film follows Poppy -- a young Australian lesbian in her search for love. Poppy meets Sandeep on the internet. Sandeep - an anglo-indian living with her conservative parents. Using her personal small camera, Poppy offers raw and incredibly frank footage to tell her true moving story that got huge ratings when aired on TV.
Is it too private or too intimate to be shown?
Is it the best vehicle to deal with serious issues targeted at young audience? Does the use of new communication tools improve access?
Does it reinforce prejudices and clichÈs or has it created a vehicle for discussion among young people?
Yay for Leamington Spa! My home town baby!

I recently watched the entire one hour episode of this doco on Australian TV. It was fabulous.
So... where is the full 60 (or so) minutes of this terrific documentary on YouTube?
I will wait with baited-breath.

fantastic blow by blow, very brave of you to post online...
why is this not more well known i wonder? would be hit in the US here, and Europe too. Would love to see the full version online, or even better, on tv.
Maybe you could send a copy of this Doc to LOGO channel folks. (popular cable station that shows all gay programming 24/7, often shows blocks of shorts and indie movies too)
