Thank you for this song. I spent two Christmases in Vietnam. No desert there but the thoughts ring true. To all you service men and women, I know how hard it is to have a merry Christmas in a combat zone, but I sincerely wish you one and I thank you for allowing my children and grandchildren to sleep safely tonight.

And even if we don't think what our govt does or involves us in is right, they still fight and give it their all for the USA. They have to take whatever is put in their path. The least u can do is say "THANK YOU". Yes they knew what they were getting into...but if it wasn't for their bravery there would be more drafting! Be thankful that those on the frontline want to be there because they chose it. Value your freedom
