@dookiecheez Yes they did do okay when the tax was 92% back in the 1950s but you know, even though so many of them are 100 times wealthier now an extra 4 percent would cause extreme pain. why goodness a 20% increase will kill them dead. *shudders* dear god don't raise taxes just bust up more unions. maybe we can get Chinese 5 year olds to do their jobs for just pennies a day.

It seems as though you don't believe the government should help anyone but think private organizations are doing the job. well take a walk in the real world. the middle class has drastically shrank, the number of poor rise daily while 400 people control nearly 50% of the wealth. the job is not being done by these "private organizations" they do not have the resources. meanwhile excessive greed rules. this is your world, the real one we all live in. I am not proud of it, and not of us either.

@superimposedtab yup keeping all the money you earn is all that matters. just pile it all up in a vault. no need to concern yourself with the living conditions of your neighbors. shoot why we can just ignore what has always happened back in history when such imbalances were created.... as for you in particular sir, i don't need to say a word about you. your own words quite adequately show the world what kind of person you are.
After Tuesday’s vote in Ohio, Walker is now pissing in fear and terror. A recall vote is most likely, one which he will lose. Throw the goofball out!

I can only aspire to have money piled up in a vault. Wealthy companies and individuals don't either. It is vested elsewhere in the economy. As for worrying about those around who seem less fortunate, it should not be the government's job to take from one person to give to another. There are private organizations that do that, and much more efficient than welfare could hope. In case you are unaware, many charities are funded by these "evil rich" you so despise.

@superimposedtab the facts are that in the 1950s the wealthy paid over 90% of their income in taxes. the wealthy still amassed wealth, but we had a strong vibrant middle class and opportunity for a vast majority to get a good job or an education. we also could afford to fix and replace infracstructure (like roads) Now they pay 35% and they sent the jobs overseas to exploit the poor workers there because they did not have laws to protect the workers. now our infracstructure is falling apart.

That's right those evil rich don't deserve money they earned. Forty percent in taxes is way to low for the evil rich. Fuck the unions and fuck the neutered idiot in the cat suit. If you think that people should start a business just to support an employee, go to Cuba.

@superimposedtab If you wish to continue to support the status quo even after confronting the facts, by all means you do so. I however cannot look at what we have become and say that how we live is healthy. to me, it is a choice between two different value systems. i have to ask what is more important, and the answer compells me to be appalled by the value system you seem to support. according to the bible we should only keep what we need and give the rest away. that is my value system.
