My guineas are about 10 weeks old and I've heard the hen sounds, but I've yet to hear this one. Do they start calling later then the girls?

@moppy1969 The boys do tend to wait a little longer than the girls to use their voice. Wait until next spring when your flock is mature and they begin to mate. That's when you'll hear the sounds and better determine their gender.

have these out in my Mom's mobile home park. at first there were 4, then they had 7 or 8 babies and it got a lil too noisy, and they'd get on the roof and run across it so they could fly into their tree which was right behind our house. got annoying, finally someone came and caught some of them and released 'em somewhere, now there's 3 last I saw. at least it ain't too noisy now.
