Yeah, actually a player does get hurt just about every game. And I'm not saying football is a tougher sport, but it would be the tougher sport if it wasn't for the pads. Oh, and like I said, how many rugby players have you ever heard of dying while playing?

I watched sports science on FSN and they actually proved that football hits are harder than rugby hits, don't believe me you can probably find a vid of it somewhere or just watch sports science until they play that episode again. The reason they made helmets and pads madatory was because 12 players actually died in one season, and that was in the 20's when the players weren't nearly as big and fast as they are today. so, tell me again, how am i fucking stupid?

are you fucking stupid... i played one year of rugby. and i play hockey and football. rugby at a high level is the ruffest sport there is. you can get stomped on. theres broken necks in scrums all the time. NO padding. huge hits. its the ruffest sport forsure
