The nesting material is dried grass that I get from Magnolia Bird Farm in California. Its cheap and easy and the birds love it. They are poor nest builders, so I help them out by packing the nest box with grass pretty tightly, and then the birds will poke and push the grass around a bit before laying their eggs.
On d left is a salmon/straw head blubck parent feeding.I can tell.:p
