You are not supposed to stop on those tracks, period, That is why there are signs that say DO NOT STOP ON TRACKS.

oooohhh.now i understand why trains honk like a hell , even during the night ( fuc* them ) in Elmwood Park. I an new in the village and sometimes I couldn't even sleep because it was so noisy ..

The tracks are very wide and on an angel. So you can easily fit 6 cars on the tracks.
