Here's the new 3Leaf Audio Proton envelope filter. It's my take on the classic Mutron III. It's super funky, and only $179!

Passive jazz bass, recorded direct into a REDDI. No eq or compression. I apologize for the bass faces.

  • Hi, crazy groove! What do you think of the proton compared to the gr2? Is it a simpler version or is it a different effect? Is the Gr worth the différence of price?

  • @bouns83 They each have their own sound. The GR2 is loosely based on the Lovetone Meatball and has more control over the filter sweep.

  • I bought a Proton off the back of this video. It absolutely drips funk. Run with some fuzz and/or an octave pedal it is just beautifully philthy. Love your playing as well man.

  • Spence, we need to jam man.

  • moody strap!

  • face is killer

  • Your my hero dude. That boy got funk drippin off his fingers.

  • Buddy... you just needed three notes to make me think : "Man, he sure can play" Nice Stuff. Congrats from France

  • man... gr2 or proton???? decisions decisisions....

  • MAAAAAAAAAAAAN, this was SICK! No other words for it! You and Uriah Duffy are so far the only people that can make me watch a pedal demo over and over not for the pedal but for the playing. Doesn't hurt that the pedal itself sounds fantastic! I've got three but really, who can have enough filters ;p? I'm REALLY looking forward to that synth though. I told myself I wouldn't need one because my entire board is one giant synth but deep down I know it's gotta happen, lol. Can't wait to see it!
