Man's Change vs God's Change

One difference between Christianity and all other religions is change. All the other world religions teaches that man must change himself and do good to get eternal life/peace. However, Christianity teaches that your self-improvement and good works are worthless insults to an infinitely holy and good God. He made only one way which mankind can be saved from hell and enter into heaven....His name is Jesus Christ - John 14:6.

Only God knows who was touched by what he said. I was in public once and a man walked in and started talking about the Holy Spirit and told everyone to smile. Twenty years later his courage to speak out still inspires me.

I mean, if I was one of those people in line, I would be repulsed by someone yelling at me. It would make me not want to be a Christian, especially if I thought I would have to witness in the same way when I became a Christian.

I'm not saying sharing God's Truth is foolishness (it's necessary), but there are better ways that have a more lasting effect. But I'm no one to judge. If God told this man to preach in this way, I pray God used him.
