This is gunna sound kinda mean but 200+ isn't all that impressive coming from a BRD... if you wanna get high chains go with this setup,

SAM/NIN x4 or MNK/NIN + BRD/NIN (pulling and buffing melees) + BRD/WHM (Ballading and buffing melees as well as cureing) Marchx2 as well as Minuetx2(or minuet and madrigal depending on gear and mobs) makes it your best bet for meriting

Look at the description: "my FIRST chain 200+". Since then I've gotten chain 200+ regularly and expect to get it.

Though, I think its pretty impressive considering the setup. x2 bard can make all the difference... if the DDs are strong enough.

But I don't like having x2 BARD because ,typically, most bards don't want to play main healer and some melees don't find /nin to be that much fun.

Too much asskissing required to get people to play like YOU want them to play.=P

It was definitely over 20k/hr but, now that I look back, this party didn't kill ~super fast~.

It had a lot to do with the way KittyCatty would voke the mob I brought in so I wouldn't have to worry about singing lullaby.

how long did it take u to get 200+ chains and does midgard still a server in ffxi cause for some reason i wasn t able to choose that server anymore man i miss that server but now am in odin

@AshleySaya ummm...heh. no. and I do think the key word in this video is this persons *first* 200. #200 chain is the norm in merit pts. and CORs can have a lot of success pulling. I actually perfer COR & BRD instead of BRD x2.  78BRD, 76NIN. Unicorn.

Pfft i pull waaaaay better on my cor, fully merit of course i always have ppl that want me on cor for merits ^_^v i dont ever merit with out a brd in pt though. i usually tell the brd to let me pull and i do. My highest was 500+ on my cor pulling

Getting massive chains requires that the puller STAGGER the flow of mobs, simply decimating the whole zone will leave you with two options.

Wait for the next bird to pop or enjoy Wivre poking.

The CORRECT way to maximize exp when DD's kill faster than the pop rate is to use the unloved Corsair's Roll.
