It's kinda of a nice melody but the song doesn't come to full fruition for me. It's slightly overproduced and the melody could be simplified and tightened. Still, nice track.

Some fans of Eric will disagree (and, of course, that's fine), but I say that no album of Eric's has ever come close to matching his debut effort -- which was, in my opinion, one of the greatest albums of all time.
That having been said ... It is testament to Eric's greatness that this piece -- part of what I would consider his downward slide -- is still better than what anyone else is putting out in the present day.
