way over complicated .....
the marui v2 was the best inivation of its time until systema themselves for the real PTW ...
your rifle is way to complex.... sure you can go from 330-500 fps in minutes the systems you can in seconds pop one pin out rack low powered cylinder out install new one lock simple....
and does 500 out of the box if buy the max-2 ( think all are these now anyway )
then your selling reinforced install parts if going upto and above 500 fps.... more ways for it to go wrong..

No thanks. It's a cool design but too many moving parts. Thats a message for disaster. Keep it simple stupid. HPA EPAR all the way. 1 moving part. 1 part to replace if it goes bad. I put my piece of crap PTW down for it.

@HSAirsoft The issue that you will run into with power is that now the rear portion of the lower reciever takes the stress, which can, will, and does cause cracking.
You can easily push more power out of a SR-25 or PSG1 base due to the contained mechanism.
Regardless of this, and with what I've been saying, this design is definetly a nice thing for those realism guys who want a semi-realistic field strip and don't need performance.
From an engineering standpoint, this design is a disaster. O_O

@DisguisedAirsofter
So you are an Engineer, that's great but can you tell us what exactly is that you know about our H4A1?
there are only 2 around for testing and "abuse" lol!, they are On Duty playing weekly all day long with well over 60,000+bb each so far, in a very short period of time and without a problem (by the way they are still going strong and these are not even the final version). ....so not too bad for an "Engineering Disaster" after all....don't you think? ;)

@HSAirsoft Take a look at the design, it is almost identical to the LYT T65. Think for a second - half tooth piston - inherently weak, and the piston is heavy, which magnifies the wear and the momentum of the geartrain as the sector gear contacts the pickup tooth. I'm not saying this isn't going to last a good long time on a weak battery in a setup lower than 30 watts, because I would expect it to last in that kind of setup.

@DisguisedAirsofter sorry for the delayed replay. yes these are all good point,BUT..H4 is NOT the same as T65. Rear and Front part of the H4 are heavily reinforced (how you can see on the video I actually stand on it and I am 150lb.) Our tests with STOCK H4 and 420fps spring showed absolutely no sign of wear on the stock piston/gears after 30,000rds w/11.1v lipo. The word "Performances" has many definitions, for you might be ROF, for us and many others is an overall great and durable AEG.

@HSAirsoft For those of us who wish to have a performance of 40, 50, even the 120 watts I've managed to produce with a TM style mechbox, it's just not doable with this base unit. The takedown is cool, the quick spring change is nice, but this is really a gun for the guys who would otherwise run a PTW/CTW or a GBBR and aren't looking for performance. Not saying it isn't a cool design, just not practical for the performance geek.
None of this was meant as an attack, just casual observation. ;)

@DisguisedAirsofter I am sorry, I forgot to mention that both guns run with a 11.1v 20c lipo battery.
we do recognize that thinking "Outside The Gearbox" lol for some is difficult as they are so used to the V2 Marui GB. But the point is that, even if most of of us do so, NO manufacturer will ever recommend to Upgrade "Performances" no matter how BETTER will make the gun. So bottom line is you are free to make your gun make Espresso if you like.;) ...but NONE of of them is designed to do so.

@DisguisedAirsofter Also, as we have said numerous time, H4A1 is designed for Power not Speed, and as I said before these are NOT the final version. The stock piston is basically a SR25 long piston and the back extension only ad 3gr to that, so if you take a sr25 piston w/19 teeth metal rack is well heavier than our half teeth stock piston...but no one has never been concerned about that as people are using them forever and with excellent results. ;)
