@omegatrini22 as a Brazilian, i can assure you that Brazilian carnival is its own. and wtf?? Trinidad, are you serious?? if you asked a random person in the world about carnival, there are only THREE carnivals that are at the top, Venice, Rio, and New Orleans. Brazil blows Trini out of the water when it comes to carnival, theres no comparison

We have Calypso competitions primary, secondary and International, Panorama, Chutney Soca Monarch, International Soca Monarch, Kings and Queens costume Competitions, various fetes and the parade of the bands Monday and Tuesdays, also we have a cool down at the beach on ash wednesday.... these are what make Trinidad Carnival the best.... So Fuck brazil, bahia and bolivia...they stole OUR CULTURE...

Funny. I was in Bahia with a Trini this year and he told me he liked it better there than his homeland.
I've been to both. Trinidad is great, but Bahia and Brazil in general is in a world of it's own. Street carnival is only 2 days in TT, in Bahia it's 7 days and nights. Nowhere compares to Bahia, certainly not Trinidad.

Only people who aren't Brazilian think Brazil's carnaval is better than Trinidad's. I've talked to people from Rio, Recife, and Bahia, and they would ALL rather be in Trinidad for Carnaval. 'Nuff said.

Everyone Has diff Opinions...Im a born Trini..n there's no place like it in d world..if u ever been to trini..u would know..we are nice ppl..and we come together at carnival time and haveeee FUNNNNNNN!!!! Try it!!!

I also use to believe that Trinidad had the best carnival but I found out that they were second and Brazil had the no. 1 best carnival.
