Joey and guys over at Element Technica were nice enough to invite me to test fly the Neutron Rig with the Scarlets today. Also checked out the neutron with the Epic and the Pulsar mirror box. Check out my other videos.
I have worked with the Neutron alot this year on my steadi and was anxious to try the epic on my steadicam rig.

@JesperA86 In side-by-side mode, the closest you can bring the cameras is limited by how wide the cameras are. With beamsplitters they can bring the spacing down to 0 because the cameras aren't in each other's way. When filming someone who's 5 feet away, they need to bring the interaxial down to like 1 inch.

Sorry for my ignorance but what is the benefit of mounting the cameras in that way for shooting 3D instead of just having them side by side?
