@oregonnewfs : You have to Alt-click the area to sample from, and whatever you sampled gets painted (clone-stamped) over, say, the person in the background.  So, you'd alt-click the ocean first (to sample) then paint over the person in background with the clone stamp tool.

you say keep sampling but you don't say what you are doing to "sample" then clone..
