Yo dawg, we heard you like Balrog, so we put Balrogs in your Balrog so you can "HUZZAH!" while you "HUZZAH!"
-
I love the percussion build-up in this piece. starts out simple and clumsy, then builds into something big and terrifying... kinda like Balrog for the first half of the game.

It's not "recomposed", it's just remixed (badly).

@Tikeslar Actually a remix is an alternative version of a recorded song, made from an original version. None of the songs on this album are mixes of the original OST. I recomposed them from scratch. Different instrumentation, expression, timing, etc. Some have different intros, and all but a couple have different outros. Many have different breaks and bridges as well as alternative movements. Thanks for the criticism though I really appreciate it. Even when it is feckless, and flippant. ;]

@DrellisSkiad You got your terminology all wrong.
To "recompose" something you have to change it's composition. You changed the instrumentation, and from what I understand you've transcribe it yourself - which is respectable.
But the composition itself is identical to the original, and that's the point I'm making.
You might have done more than that, as you claim, in your other videos (which I never listened to), so I hereby formally restrict my criticism to this particular score.

@Tikeslar Although I don't have my terminology wrong; you are correct in that this demo version of the track on YouTube has no significantly discernible variation to the original theme. On the album there's a short hard reprise near the end of the track with coarser melody. Limited to this video your criticism is justified albeit I would use the term "cover" as it still contains no sampling of the source material to grant it remix status.
