Obon Matsuri Salt Lake City 2008 - beautiful dancing お盆祭り

As you watch this video, notice how each dancer brings his or her own age, gender, heritage, life experience, body type, and most of all SPIRIT to the dance to make it even more beautiful in their own way.

I had a lot of fun watching this. It makes me happy to be a human to see so many different beautiful people dancing. I am lucky to be part of such a wonderful community. Next time I am going to learn the dances and dance with them. :)

You are so right Princesstipsy2 and further, I enjoy watching this video from time

to time, as this is my favorite ondo matsuri video. Love the ondo song during the

last part of this exciting dance.....it's beautiful to watch!!!

Look closely,women,men, children--the sweet elderly mama-sans are my favorite--a gentle, wise grace! And many people not in Japanese clothing;maybe they do not knoe the dance as well, but they tried & enjoyed: YES! with only tiny part of SLC Japan town left, this shows tremendous community :D

Nice video. Go for it next year. I am sure the members would love to have more community members join in.  That's what community is about.
