The Western Digital VelociRaptor series continues to shine as mainstream computing's feature 10,000 RPM drives. Here's a new addition to the line, a 1TB WD VelociRaptor, featuring increased platter density, a boost in performance, and a nice jump in storage capacity.

Grab one of these for space, and a SSD for speed, and you're good to go.

just picked up one of these. bought my 1st raptor in 2007, still going strong. along with a WD green 1tb that is my main backup hd. bought 2d raptor in 2010, my main hd. made a PC for someone and bought an OCZ SSD, returned it 3 times, all 3 failed. in the end the guy who i built the PC stuck with the 1TB WD black that was in there and used that as the main HD to this day.
