Wisconsin & Southern Railroad president Bill Gardner hosted Santa Train for over ninety elementary grade school students from Tenor Elementary School in suburban Milwaukee. On a cool but sunny day on the north side of Milwaukee, Santa Claus was in town to greet Kindergarten through 4th grade elementary students onboard a real train caboose. For more than four hours, Santa Claus and his elves were on hand for pictures and hear what children wanted for Christmas. And for entertainment, children were dazzled by magic tricks of World Class magician David Seeboch of the "Wonders of Magic."
"Today, we had over ninety school age children, their parents, and instructors of Tenor Elementary School in Milwaukee come out and visit Santa Claus and learn about magic tricks to celebrate the holiday season," stated Bill Gardner. "I am thrilled to see the happiness on each child's face as they had a chance to visit one-on-one with Santa Claus on a historic railroad caboose," he added.
The Wisconsin & Southern Railroad Co. wishes to thank all the volunteers and staff that helped make this event possible, including the 1003 Organization. We also extend a very special thank you to Santa Claus and his elves for spending a special time with Milwaukee school age children.
Our video starts with the train leaving Hartford for Milwaukee. After Santa's visit at North Milwaukee, the train departs for its return to Horicon Headquarters. Along the way, we see the train at Silver Spring Street, Granville, Germantown, and Rugby Jct. before we climb aboard for the run from Slinger to Hartford.
Seasons Greetings from everyone at the Wisconsin & Southern!
