How can i get ride of white heads i have them all over my forehead help!

If you don't go outside in the sunlight, does the anti-oxidant get destroyed by electrical lights too?
-
@dermTVdotcom Yes, mentioning this detail would've been helpful, indeed! But at least you added the comment so that people know :-)
-
@visceralanding Yes, thank you! :-)

@NataschaO It will in fact be 'harmful' when used during the day ONLY if you do not follow it w/a sunscreen! Sun protection is absolutely critical if you're choosing to apply a C serum in the AM. Hope that helps :-)

I'm sorry I probably sound stupid... so applying antioxidant and then applying a physical sunscreen afterwards wouldn't help the antioxidant act as a antioxidant instead of a sunscreen?
-
can you apply your antioxidant after your chemical exfoliator at night?
-
@starfairy12345 Yes, Vitamin E is an antioxidant :-)
Thanks doctor, i really enjoyed most of your vedios. I have a question about VitaminC is that can lemon or orange juice be used on skin as skin lightening or could it be an antioxidant
SAROOONA77 1 year ago
@SAROOONA77 Lemon and lime juice contain a derivative of oil of pergamot, one of the most photo-sensitizing chemicals known to man. Accordingly, application of either of these to your skin and then exposing your skin to any type of sunlight causes very dark stains. Regarding orange juice, neither the form of Vitamin C nor its concentration in orange juice can act as a topical antioxidant or bleach. But it tastes good!

FAMILY20030 1 year ago
@FAMILY20030 I prefer formulations of Vitamin C that contain tetrahexadecylascorbate or methylsilanolascorbate.

You are great and you present the info so clearly. I was wondering what you think of oxygen creams or oxygen delivery systems in skincare that claim to bring ingredients, such as antioxidants, deeper into the skin. Are such products beneficial at all or would the oxygen render the antioxidants ineffective?

@tsondusangmo: Thank you for your kind words. As you guessed, I don't believe oxygen creams or oxygen delivery systems are effective and am happy to review any critical research that indicates they are.
