Note: This channel is only concerned with Part 1 of 'The Zeitgeist Movie' dealing with the origins of religious beliefs and traditions.

Here's a video clip of modern Egyptologist Dr. Bojana Mojsov admitting parallels between Osiris &/or Horus with Jesus. And, at 5:30 you'll see a stone carving of Isis as she hovers over Osiris in the form of a bird to receive the divine seed (notice there's no 'member') of Osiris. Mojsov then says, "It's a miraculous birth of the savior child."

"The Pyramid Texts speak of "the great virgin" (Hwn.t wr.t) three times (682c, 728a, 2002a..."

"In a text in the Abydos Temple of Seti I, Isis herself declares: "I am the great virgin"
- Christ in Egypt, page 152, * Pyramid Texts are 4,400 years old

"The Egyptian goddess who was equally 'the Great Virgin' (hwnt) and 'Mother of the God' was the object of the very same praise bestowed upon her successor [Mary, Virgin Mother of Jesus]."
- Dr. Witt, an Egyptologist, Christ in Egypt, 120

This is exactly what Acharya saidwhen she was asked to prove her claims : She refered to George Massey , and then she said that Massey is not precise with his own sources... - just like Hercules2345 is always referring the same sources that lead to Zeigeist.

Btw, crucifixion appeared around 600 BC... and was never used by the egyptian.

And also, ALL Horus / Jesus parallel are wrong and deceptive. I can debunk any of them, just name it.

Jesus was not born the 25th, he was born "around" October. The reason we have this 25 January date is due to a "compromise".

25 December IS a paian celebration (solstice). That date was choosen in 354 because at the time, they didn't know exactlyexaclty how to define it, and 25th was already a "sacred" date. Also, because of religion "competition", it was important to set the date the same day when paian were celebrating. Some christian refused this decision but were executed.

1 historian = major event in the past. If you remove all event with 1 or less historian talking about, you can erase 90% of ancient knowledge we have today. Tactitus is very precise about Jesus existence. Tiberius , the emperor of Rome, talks about it. It is impossible that is was just a rumor ! The emperor of Rome himself is talking about it, so the event was so important that he himself write about it. And then, for decades, no one question jesus existence, they all try to deny the miracle.

I read the sourcebook, and it all looks like the same people to me. If you knew me, you'd know I'm neither Christian nor dishonest, but you like to jump to conclusions. And claiming 'anyone can google this' is very different than pretending to be an expert. It doesn't take an expert to know the difference between having your arms outstretched and literally being crucified, or when three stars called kings line up as opposed to three actual kings visiting someone. This video is misleading at best

ember e mentions like 12 historians below that mentioned Jesus outside of the Bible, but many of them are questionable at best. Tacitus may be a good source of evidence that a similar man existed and was crucified, but I don't know. And it's my understanding that Saturnalia was a celebration of the god Saturn, not the sun's movement. I think they set it so everyone could celebrate on the same day, in order to keep peace between different religions.

Then you lied when you said "Those sources are all somehow connected to Acharya or the venus project, and they're not reputable."

Anyone who read the Sourcebook knows that's a lie.

    Was Horus "Crucified?"

What's hilarious is your ignorance on the subject while you pretend to be an expert. Just another dishonest Christian out to shore up their faith at all costs.

so you admit it was moved to coincide with the suns movement? I have looked it up ive spent hours upon hours looking for evidence that jesus walked the earth and guess what the only place it exists is in the bible, why is that, because its just a story, even if you believe in a book written by man what happened to jesus from age 12-30 theres no mention of this time, that's a pretty good bullshit story to me,seems like a pretty big plot hole.

Tacitus is repeating the story Christians had told him, not what he had found in official archives. Thallus does not refer to a Jesus, only to an eclipse, which a Christian used to bolster the Christian story. Tranquillus's and Pliny's writings are derivative, useless for evidence that Jesus was an historical person. Lucian was retelling the story. Mara Bar Serapion was not an eyewitness of Jesus and does not mention a resurrection. Most of these have been rebutted.

I read the sourcebook. Horus wasn't crucified, didn't raise from the dead 3 days later, and wasn't visited by 3 kings (nor was Jesus from what I understand). The sourcebook's explanations for those are hilarious. And Jesus has little in common, if anything at all, with Thor, Odin, and the other gods mentioned at 5:00. Like so many other intelligent people have said, there's plenty of fallacies in the Bible, but PJ hated it so much he made up lies against it.
