Bob, Goggle Bill Reichenbach and you will find that he is a 1st call studio musician and extremely accomplished at playing the trombone. If you find the video called Trombone Institute of Technology on here, or any of the other tunes from the Bone Town cd, that is him playing the bass Part. Believe me, the sound you hear is the sound he wants you to hear. I have heard him hit an F at the top of the treble clef staff.

work on toungeing, and make sure you do longtones to get air to support it. Other than that, I suggest just doing rythmic exercises to build up speed, so you can more out of your wrist. I don't play trombone a whole lot, my main instrument is tuba, so I don't have a whole lot of information.

Is it me, or dose this guys upper/mid range sound airy? I mean, i'm not trying to be one of those retarted flamers, i'm just wondering if its him or if its my bad speakers or the general tendancey of the instrument, I play tuba, so pardon me if i'm wrong.
