test tones 40hz down to 30hz

needs to go to 20hz really but the camera ran out of battery.
needs to be turned up a bit too, but i dont want to blow my subwoofers just yet!

I know (most) speakers are overrated nowadays as are (most)amps! thats what I am saying foo! read it again.

yep you miscalculated. some subs have overrated peak power, like those "1300 watt" 380 watt RMS sony xplods and those "3000 watt" 1000 watt RMS alpine type Xs and pioneer premiers, but they aren't ridiculously overrated as you state.

Not true! Speakers now a days are over rated! Like 50x over rated. I figured out how to measure Wattage and I found out that most "1000w" speakers can only handle 50 TRUE watts. (unless I miscalculated)

the rockford is (/was!) 360 but underrated

the kicker is about the same, or just a bit more but they are both highly underrated by any of todays standards.

how many RMS watts is your RF amp and how many is the kicker you were talking about?

yeah i did, program called audacity, its free off the net, google it, it can be a bit hard to get to grips with but if you have any problems post back and ill give you a hand.
