Igniz is the final boss in The King of Fighters 2001.

This is clearly an un-balanced match. Igniz is cheap and kinda overpowered. Maybe I could have beaten him quickly with Shin Gouki but I decided to use Ichigo. If you're far away from Igniz, he'll spam you with flame attacks. It was almost impossible for me to get close to him. If I did get close to him at times, he would activate a shield that would knock me away. He has a move where the whole screen is engulfed in flames. That's his strongest attack. The only thing that you can do is block it and hope that it doesn't take all your health away. The most annoying move IMO is the one that shakes the ground. You're instantly knocked off of your feet during that attack.I was clearly about to lose this match when it happened..... I achieved Bankai! After achieving Bankai, you have to get the job done quick. If you don't, Ichigo will lose his Bankai if he's attacked when his special meter goes down.
