Nine Inch Nails at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago on the Wave Goodbye tour. This is Eraser and The Downward Spiral (starts around 4:30) from Friday night. It was a really small venue for NIN. Awesome show! Goodbye
It just annoys me when people complain about others singing along to the song. I paid almost two hundred PER NIGHT just to be there, and I wasn't about to not sing along to my favorite band of all time when it was possible I would never see them again live.
I even made some friends during Suck. We screamed the lyrics to each other as we moshed. Haha. "HOW DOES IT FEEL?!"
Ahh shit. I'm getting teary eyed now. Point is. Don't get drunk at shows. You wont remember it afterward. Lol.
I agree I sang along too but I kept it under control. I had a drunk jackass screaming in my ear so loud I could hardly hear Trent. Singing along = OK. Screaming at the top of your lungs with your mouth 8 inches from the person in front of you's ear = rude and annoying...
Saturday was definately the better night of the two dude. I know what you mean. Friday night, some cunt actually kicked my leg out when I took a breather from the pit. She got up in my face, blaming me for the 25+ person pit that had sprung up. I was ready to knock her out, but I didn't let it ruin it, no fucking way sir.
Awesome set of shows, either way. Chicago crowds usually suck, but ya just gotta make the best of it.
We paid good money to be there and be with Trent and the band, to experience Nine Inch Nails. You can listen to the music any time you want by pressing play on your MP3 player. Its a concert, not a release party.
I was certainly not trying to outsing TR, and I wasn't drunk. And when they left the stage, I had tears in my eyes cause I wouldn't see them ever again. But I loved every second of it.
Trent almost canceled this show because he was feeling terribly sick. Then shortly before the show began, he somehow just got better, and put on a fucking SICK ass show. Hell yeah! I was there!
Both shows were incredible although I must admit if I had to pick I'd say Friday night had a better setlist, in particular with this run of songs and the Closer/ Terrible Lie combo was sweet. I think that was the best performance of Terrible Lie EVER! I just wish it was preceded by Now I'm Nothing... Although I creamed my jeans hearing Ruiner on Saturday! Unreal! Best Weekend EVER!
my favorite NIN song eraser
