This is a segment from the film featuring Alice Baumgartner. Alice started a Darfur action group at her school and sent several disposable cameras to Darfur so that we can see the crisis through the eyes of children. Out of 25 cameras sent, she received 23 back. The pictures, all taken by children, are a testament to the struggles of those living in refugge camps just across the border in Chad. The photos are also a testament to our shared humanity. This segment also features music by Tom Flannery. The song is entitled, "For Brian Burns."
Congratulations on your Rhodes Scholarship! Use it well. :)
