Berklee's Pop/Rock Live Show featuring Brandon Allen singing Bethany Weber and Alvin Foster's arrangement of the Beatles tune, Strawberry Fields Forever. I seem to keep doing these R&B/Gospel/Funk rearrangements of Beatles tunes. LOL!

  • I have a video of a co-arrangement I did of Alannah Myles' "Black Velvet" that has a r&b/neo soul feel as well. You probably wouldn't like that either haha....

  • Haha relax. Actually R&B has come with tons of original material as I hope you know. As for current maintstream R&B and pretty much every other genre too, I can see your point. As far as the R&B interpretation, if you don't appreciate it, then you are entitled to your opinion but every genre takes songs from other genres and covers it in their own style. That is a fact. One name that immediately come to mind for me is Jamie Cullum who does a lot of jazz piano covers of r&b/hip hop tunes.

  • what is wrong with why cant r&b come up with their own shit and be original
