  • I am so happy for you Kimmy. I'm sure this is a moment that you won't forget and will hold in your Heart for a long time to come. I hope that you keep up your Great Uncle Ira and Grandpa Charlie Louvin's tradional music for years to come. Best Wishes LittleCountryDJ

  • kimmy531- could you please tell me if Betty is still here? I had called someone here last year and they never got back with me. Please tell Kenny and family I said hello. The girl that lived next door.

  • I never appreciated country music until I heard the music of the Louvin bros. It was a revelation that I owe all to them. God bless you Charlie.

  • Thankyou to the Louvin family for all the beautiful music and memories you continue to share.

  • The years I worked with Charlie Louvin will always be treasures in my memory. Charlie told me I was the best rhythm guitar player he had ever worked with (with the exception of himself ) and that he loved my harmony with him topped only by Ira (his brother)! I couldn't get better compliments than those. I will forever miss Charlie Louvin.

  • I was watching WSMV last night and was still not ready to hear the news as Charlie got me my first job in the Country Music business! Those were the best 4 years and they lived next door to us and Betty, Sonny and Kenny, and the youngest. My best goes out to the entire family. Going back stage to the Opry at the old Ryman was always a treat.

  • we'll miss you

  • Condolences to the family .

  • Oh, Charlie... You will be missed by so many folks. Your music inspired us all. Thank you for your special dedication you made for my folks on the Opry. We've never forgotten. God Bless you and your family.
