A video about whether its actually worth going to the trouble of trying to run os x on a netbook when your not really going to be able to use it to its full potential on a low powered machine. Wouldn't windows xp or ubuntu suffice? Or even windows 7?

  • D250 all the way :)

  • OS X 10.5.5 Leopard runs almost flawlessly on the EeePC 1005HAB, I get wifi with a Netgear Dongle, screen rez is 800x600 so theres an issue, also an issue with the graphics card when i want to view iTunes in coverflow (coverflow works in finder but not iTunes, weird) or time machine cascade, sound works with voodoo HDA, cam is a no-go so far, works perfectly on battery, iDeneb v1.3

  • @perple2701 the old 12" laptops should be considered apples netbook.

  • osx runs perfect on acer aspire one so u don't no what your talking about

  • It works great if you are still interested. It is not much effort at all anymore

  • I am dual booting windows xp and mac os x snow leopard and it runs great, im an iphone dev so its nice to be apple to code on the go! 1.6ghz intel atom, 1gb ram

  • the "touchscreen computer" is the new iPad (an oversized iPhone without the phone) LOL

  • apple do make a netbook, apple refer to the macbook air as their netbook or notebook!

  • If i can get OS X, and have iMove run smooth, it's worth it. If i can't get iMovie running, just safari.. then no, not worth it.

  • I done it to my netbook it works great and all i changed was the wifi card
