@Zerothegr8 I played this game so much that i discovered you can fight the core in 2 mods one harder one easier.The easier one is what you did get up the lift,the harder is after you hit all switches go back to where you hit the second switch and the gate is opened,go through there and you will get under the core and fight it,it is harder.
