Good riddance to Gordon Brown, but don't cheer too loudly just yet.

If you were expecting improvements to the Work Capability Assessment format, then I'm afraid you're hoping for too much.

The proposed 'new changes' that may well become government policy should make anyone's hair stand on end

Especially when, if anything, the changes are geared even more to make an almost impossible test to pass even more impossible to pass.

This is even in the light of the Citizens Advice Bureau, MIND, Shaw Trust, and a multitude of other welfare/medical organisations strongly criticising the whole WCA format as being discriminatory, unfair, inflexible and potentially harmful.

If you're sick yourself, or have a relative or friend on the sick, or even if what you hear in this part of the clip and the other two parts strikes a chord with you, then one avenue is to write to your MP, or possibly a newspaper letters page.

Tell them that you cannot vote for a party that advocates such grossly fascistic policies - and that you cannot trust them when you're unfortunate enough to be in a position when you physically cannot work.

  • This is very well explained and outlined. Very interesting analysis of Iain Duncan Smith in particular.

  • @channel107radio

IDS is political deadwood - even by the lowly standards of the lot who are in now.

It's his last chance to make something of a stagnant political career, and being that his entire career in nationwide politics has been an abject failure, I don't think he will.

  • I have problems with a withered limb but it doesn't stop me working like a slave mate! I can barely wipe my ass but I only get wages. I think lloyds tsb are fab; I borrowed 20k off em in 1996 and paid back fuck all! Lost my arm and they felt sorry for me! Bastards

  • @Tarquinbeaniebaby

If you were remotely believable, you'd be almost funny - but you haven't got the wit to be one or the other.

  • Are you really Cheryl Cole?

  • @Tarquinbeaniebaby

Nope. Are you always this dense?

  • Perhaps the Nazis had it right all along - just externinate all the sick, disabled and dying. That at least would end life and suffering fairly quickly, whereas this government wants to either work the diabled to an early grave, or take away their benefits and watch them slowly die of starvation. Either way once people are dead they are no longer a burden on the state which would much rather spend money on aid abroad and fighting wars

  • What the goverment are doing to the english people is disgusting! World goverment plans are to depopulate the world populations by 90%

  • The intention is for people to die. This is a eugenics programme. Go to lifeinthemix.info, and see the report titled 'Atos, the Work Programme and Mandatory Work Activity Supply chains'.

There is uploaded there 'mobilisation plans' and other documents submitted to the DWP by prime providers of the 'Work Programme'. When A4e are looking for premises to run their 'Mandatory Work Activity', A4e have specifically stated they need premises where a CRB check is NOT required.

  • @rilleytherag why?

  • ATOS don't lie, THEY ARE NEVER THAT FOOKING HONEST
