Keisha Castle-Hughes is a Sign On climate ambassador http://www.signon.org.nz on board the Greenpeace ship MV Esperanza as it begins a climate impacts tour in the Cook Islands capital Rarotonga.

The Pacific tour will high-light the need for western countries to decrease their carbon emissions dramatically so as not to negatively effect low-lying communities in the South Pacific who are some of the most vulnerable peoples to rising sea levels due to climate damage.

  • hi keisha i have a crush on you since i saw the movie nativity... i love you!!!

  • @mma0tomars The climate is fucked up partly due to human activity since industrial revolution. Humans have exceeded their carrying capacity for their environment and therefore are utilising resources at a rate that is completely unsustainable at the expense of pretty much all other living things and eventually our future generations. Earth has exhibited crazy weather but previously it was on a predictable and regular interval, all these floods and hurricanes etc are on an unpredicted scale etc

  • @SamRubinPictures Clements are good. Why would you want to change them? As for the climate, yeah it's fucked up. But that's nothing new. At least not while humans have existed. Earth has exhibited insane weather for as long as we've been around (ask the victims of the last ice age). Are humans the cause of it? Probably not. Can we do something about it? Maybe... I don't know man. Neither do you.

  • shes so hot

  • I love it when she says "We're here at the dock"!
