Hey guys -- your back at ClevverTV. I'm Jolsyn Davis coming to from our headquarters with some hot news from the Executive producer of The Vampire Diaries, Kevin Williamson.

Our TV Guide pal Robyn Ross brought us a bit of insight as to why Williamson chose Caroline to become a vampire in season 2. After all, last season, she and several of the other human characters had no clue about what was really going down in Mystic Falls. William said that he told himself "We need a game-changer, and if one of these characters had to be a vampire, who would you want to see?" Then to answer his own question, he added "I wanted to see Caroline."

The reasoning behind the move to turn Caroline into a vamp, stems from the fact that the relationship she shares with Matt and the possibilities there would be so much more interesting if the complexities were more intense. But poor Matt, right? This guy seems to already have enough drama going on in his own life. Do Matt and Caroline have what it takes to make it through the whole vampire-human debacle?

Caroline is an awesome vamp, and like Katherine said,it was poetic to change her because her, Elena, and Bonnie will all die in the sacrifice.(but we all know the girls will find a way to save everyone,incuding themselves)

TEAM JEREMY!!!! TURN HIM INTO A VAMPIRE!!!!!!!!!!!! I think that it would give the show a good dynamic with him being a vampire and Bonnie being a witch and not liking vampires. How would their relationship work out?? I hope I get to find out!!!!!!! :D
