Actually Hyperball was a faliure, it was not a pinball machine, and definitely not even close to being considered one of Williams best efforts. The only thing it shares with pinball was steel balls and the cabinet shape. Other than that, it was merely a target shooter. A lame, boring, target shooter. Hard to believe that Bally/Midway made their own Hyperball clone called Rapid Fire that failed miserably as well.
