In this segment I get a power upgrade early that is supposed to be only accessible by flying with the familiar (later in the game)

Where did you get the 5th Weapon Powerup? I counted them all and you should only have 4 of them from what you have shown.

1: After the Frog Boss

2: Break the Icicle to get into the blocked room.

3: After talking to the guy at the fortress.

4: After getting slid, slide to the hidden room in the mountains.

Where did you get the 5th one?

Good eye. I forgot to post the segment. It's right after getting the two hearts in the Lorian forest. I'll try to get it uploaded in the next few days.

I get the weapon power up in the water by sliding into the water, avoiding the fish, then getting hit by a fish on purpose to give me a speed boost so I don't drown.

lol, I did that when I played back in the day, but I didn't abuse the load save and had to go up again a thousand times :(
