Mestre Marcelo was a student of Mestre Suassuna, who is the co-founder of "Associacao de Capoeira Cordão de Ouro". In 1984, Mestre Marcelo left Brazil and settled in the United States. At that time, he was one of only three people teaching capoeira in the US. Mestre Marcelo is also known as the real life incarnation of the Tekken video game character "Eddy Gordo." Hard to believe this guys wrote that whole description and didn't event have anough repsect to say a few words about Mestre Camisa, founder and president of ABADA-Capoeira. Mestre Camisa is known internationally and recognized as one of the most influential Capoeira Mestres ever. Respect for Mestre Camisa doesn't come from seeing how he made a video game character, but as a Capoeirista. Nice video, but give credit where credit is due.

No disrespect to Mestre Camisa whose jogo is clean and has done much with capoeira, but In this video, he is a co-star. funny to see the extrems comments on Mestre Camisa Games on Youtube. Without doubt abada is one of the biggest group in the world, but without any doubt it is like all huge companies : it as some good sides but it is mostly bad. I personally don't like the techniques and games I had seen from Abada teachers, but still have lot of respect for Mestre Camisa cause he is responsable for lot of work for capoeira in the world.
