Commissioned by the Kennedy Center, this work was inspired by the strength of humanity revealed after a tragedy and the processes of thought and emotion that were experienced by those who were exposed to these events. The dance explores the range and interweaving of emotions encountered by one (and all) when they confront loss as well as when they reach some degree of peace with what has transpired. A meditation on War and its after effects

  • The poem is by Pablo Neruda and the music is by Gorecki but I like your comparison to Kate Bush.
