Just split it evenly, are you honestly going to bring along paper, pen and calculater to a restaurant and set up equations?
If there is 10 people there, and 9 order a drink of £1, and one orders a drink of £2. That is a total of £1.1 per person, so is it worth the time and effort going, oh no you had 1.313456 of a drink, but then again i had 2.4553 of a salad?
And what numbers will you decide for everything? instead of going through the bill numbering everything just pay for what you ate
