SAVE YOYOGI PARK

My favorite spot in Tokyo is the walkway leading up to Yoyogi Park. Dozens of talented musicians and bands play there within earshot of each other every sunday afternoon. I just read that the Tokyo Parks Dept is banning bands from playing there now and I can't express how sad that makes me. Free, beautiful and independent music, especially outdoors should be celebrated and preserved, NOT BANNED. In a country steeped in honor for protecting it's history, this modern institution should not be erased.
