So its headquarters is in Texas. Who Cares? The airline is out of bankruptcy, and is now the world's largest airline. I can't find any Air France commercials that show this. Plus, if there was a commercial like this, nobody would care. People steal ideas all the time.

This was brilliant ! John Hamm (Mad Men/Don Draper) pitching American Airlines. I can see more ads by the cast - even pitching from the set.

You guys copied Air France! There is already an advertisement with people all over the globe staring up and looking at a jet. They are staring up at Air France, not some bankrupt Texas airline. Nice try :)

actually the logo has changed 5 times since in total starting in 1934. the last logo was designed in 1968.

I'll be completely honest with American Airlines. I really don't like the new logo or design. I like the red, white, and blue stripes on the silver airplane and the AA with the eagle on the back. Please go back to the old logo sometime. I really liked it. Besides, the logo has been around since the start if the business. Why change it now??!

I'm not (nor will I ever want to be) a 'new American', this form of jingoistic advertising may play well to the programmed citizens of America but it alienates TF out of most of the worlds potential customers.
