Saban's Adventures of Oliver Twist "Show Time" Part 1

Another episode of Saban's Adventures of Oliver Twist I managed to find. Please pardon that this upload does little justice to the actual smooth animation. Again based very loosely on Charles Dickens classic in a lighter tone for kids show. Mona Marshall provides the voice of Oliver. Fagin always narrates each episode, and it seems he is speaking of the events from his past. This may prove that Fagin has indeed brought up his fellowship in all good intentions.

Okay, a bit less on story this time and more on slap stick humor. Just kids having fun and having dreams of making lots of money. Finally we are introduced to Bill Sikes the Bear. Unlike his literary sorce, his character has been toned down dramatically so he is just a bully that picks on the boys in the series. Also, OC "Princess" Anuska can be quite annoying at first, but she always gets it in the end. Enjoy!

@margiehines Oh, I know...the Disney movie is loosely based on the original Oliver story. It's a very modern take on it, removed from London to New York City.

@RemyGirl3000 Never seen Bugs Bunny, huh? Haha. Really, I think the animal cast is okay. Not all of them necessarily align with the stereotypical images of each animal, but that's cool. It works. Only thing is that I'm used to imagining Oliver as a cat thanks to Oliver & Company. But I like seeing him depicted as a dog. ^^

They made Fagin a fox that isnt right they sohuld have made Fagin a Rat or a Badger something sneaky and old but friendly too

yea rabbits are shy gentle creatures, no sly ones, dodger should be a fox or a weasel or something.

I never understood why they made Dodger a rabbit.

I'd imagine him more as a fox. In fact, I think in swedish The Dodger is called "Räven" which means Fox!
