High Rows are a cross between upright rows and seated row.

High rows on the total gym attempt to isolate your rear deltoids, rhomboids and middle trapezious as you squeeze your elbows upwards and back.

The kinesiological term for the exact motion is transverse extension.

This is a great exercise to help balance out the physique for people who have focused on the chest creating muscle imbalances.
