James K. Polk Rap

I bet you've never seen an Asian rap a song involving a president before. Until now. Here are the lyrics since they're probably hard to hear:

James K. Polk was the 11th president
Dont forget him or youll be in repent.
He served from 1845
Til the end of his term in 49.

He was the last Jacksonian as some peopled say
But Democratic, is what wed call him today.
Polks nickname was Young Hickory
For his speaking skillz were a sight to see.

In 44 Polk went against Henry Clay
Who was really famous back in the day
But Clay did not want to, add in Texas
Which hurt him in the end because most were for annex-as

Polks rule was revolved around
The growing of America and even more towns
He fought a war with Mexico
And made the 49th parallel with Britainico

The Walker Tariff of 1846
Lowered protection tariffs that were draining the banks
And with new states of California, New Mexico, and Oregon
Disputes arose on where the slaves would goes.

The growing population and the greed for money
Increased the gap between the rich and the poor-y
Reformation was also all the rage
And it was the women, who bursted, out of their cage.

The Seneca Falls Convention of 1848
Declared womens suffrage, and it spread at a fast rate.

But James K. Polk opened up many doors
Even though he helped accelerate the states into war.
