Bravo. I couldn't agree more. I can't believe that the sponsors who gave this kid money and paid for equipment, etc. knew he was going to go to all these ports of call and spend weeks partying.
He is a spoiled brat and that is exactly why I am not cheering his sister on. At least it appears she is trying to do this trek solo, but I believe she has already cheated by meeting up with her father.

for those who say he lived modestly--he lives in Marina Del Rey. if you're from California you know that is one of the most expensive cities in Los Angeles county.
