the output generator is about 2.24 volts dc. these were configured like a newman motor, i think 28 guage, don't remember how many turns, maybe about 700 turns each pole.
i am looking for a DC motor to couple to this. what do u think?
Angular momentum is just another technical term for the energy held in a flywheel. These motor systems will tend to work better at larger scales, depending quite heavily on the build quality.
What is the output of that generator? how are the coils configured?

bigger motor, smaller generator. you need a weighted flywheel too, store some energy as angular momentum.
