@imsingh - Provide PROOF & FACTS. Name of the the Sikh General who refused to attack??What battalion did he command? Gens. Vaidya, Sundarji & Brar were the only CO's. FYI Capt. Jasbir Singh Rana (a Sikh) was first soldier to enter the Golden temple. So sikh soldiers fought to cleanse and restore sanctity to the gurdwara. Your humanity is very one-sided, why no tears for the Hindus (men, women & kids) executed by Kuta Bhindranwale? Your people also blew up Air India plane, thats true sikhism??

There was no humanity in that attack, and if brar was scared that all of punjab was coming to defend the militia in the temple then they had support all across. Other gurdwaras were also attacked and brar knew that along with Indra.

@dzoig Well that wasn't Indra job then, it was a discussion among the sikhs. Also general brar is deemed a traitor and not a worthy person among the Sikh community. If he was a terrorist, then Indra amd her family are political terrorist that corruption revolves around. I have learned about my history and you should know along with the golden temple 38 other gurdwaras were also attacked. It was an attack and the real Sikh general before brar was asked and refused. Nothing justifies the attack.

@imsingh so the usage of the harmander sahib as a terrorist hiding spot is ok? if bhindranwale was so brave why he took shelter in harmandir sahib? And bhindranwale having his sleeping quarters above the guru granth sahib ( which you are not even supposed to stand above) is ok? .... first learn about your religion, then learn facts and then come back. btw the army operation was planned and launched by General Kuldip SINGH Brar ... so learn your history as well.

@329735jassi Then be proud, and let these guys be proud Sikhs who gave their lives for their faith. The attack on the golden temple was a fight and it was always between Hindu vs. Sikh. It was very brave to send a military army of 10,000 to catch 1 man. You think they are the bad ones, well the army killed them after their lack of moral attack on the golden temple on the day many pilgrims had come to celebrate. Many innocent people died that day and Punjab was barricaded by the Hindu army.

@bnfgh That's why they created a new identity for themselves. Sikhs are known to be brave not Hindu. Sikhs with valor, fought against the Mughal, and the HIndu's were converting into Islam. It's because of the brave Sikh Gurus that even Hinduism survived. It was the Hindu's that came to the Sikhs for help always. Yea Sikhism came after but that is an obvious thing, no one denies that. If you really do not agree with Sikhs then why does the Indian government hold on to Punjab so desperately?
