comical...My wife is Burmese, she now lives here in the USA. Thanaka is definately used to block the sun in Burma. Very normal. Remember, Most SE Asians hate the sun! Most believe that the sun blotches their skin...gives them dark spots, therefore protecting their skin is very important.

Your lack of intelligence is only surpassed by the void in your sense of humour. I have lived half of my life outside of the US including a half dozen years in SEA. Pricks like you who sit with your thumbs up your asses watching FOX news and plaster bumper stickers on their subarus have NO FUCKING CLUE about what happens in the rest of the world. So rather than than spending all of you pithy life on trolling for videos on youtube, why dont yout spend some energy trying to make a differnence.

hi, I was in mae sot for 3 and a 1/2 months last fall--the burmese do put the paste on their faces as a sun-block
